FlyBase curator comment: this entry is used to capture phenotypic information when the particular allele (or allele combination) used by the author could not be determined but the context of the experiment suggests that the phenotype being described is some kind of loss of function.
Marked clones in the eye disc expressing Ras85DV12.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI and which are also homozygous for wtsunspecified result in immensely overgrown tumours in the eye-antennal discs, but marked cells are never seen on the ventral nerve cord or other locations in third instar larvae (indicating that the mutant tumour cells do not show metastatic behaviour).
