      Expression of E(spl)SA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4sca-109-68 leads to rough eyes.

      When E(spl)Scer\UAS.cKa is driven by Scer\GAL4455.2, the number of macrochaetae seen on the scutellum is reduced from 4 to zero. E(spl)SA.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4sca-537.4 is embryonic lethal at 25oC OR 18oC. When E(spl)Scer\UAS.cKa is driven by Scer\GAL4sca-109-68, no reduced eye phenotype is seen, though the eyes are slightly rough. When E(spl)SA.Scer\UAS is driven by Scer\GAL4h-1J3, Scer\GAL4GMR.PF or Scer\GAL4hs.2sev no eye phenotype is seen.
