SgpEY06744 homozygous adults exhibit increased mortality upon systemic infection with Drosophila C virus (without an increase in viral titers), cricket paralysis virus (without an increase in viral titers) or Flock House virus but not with Drosophila X virus, and they exhibit a small but significant decreased mortality upon systemic infection with invertebrate iridescent virus 6 while they do not exhibit any changes in their life span upon heat induction or starvation when compared to controls.
