lethal | pupal stage (with Rheb7A1)
Homozygous clones in the fat body show a reduction in relative cell area compared to controls.
Rheb26.2/Rheb7A1 larvae and pupae are much smaller than wild-type. The smallest die as larvae, while the rest arrest development and then die during the pupal stages. Rheb26.2/Rheb3M2 animals die as pupae. The imaginal discs from larvae of this genotype are smaller than wild-type, roughly in proportion with their small body size. The salivary glands of these animals are even more severely reduced in size.
Rheb26.2 has decreased cell size | somatic clone phenotype, non-suppressible by Scer\GAL4unspecified/RagA-BQ61L.UAS
The decrease in relative cell area compared to controls that is seen in Rheb26.2 clones in the fat body is not rescued by expression of RagAQ61L.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified.
