      Changes in cuticle pattern indicate that in Mmus\Sdccag33Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC; Scer\GAL469B embryos, the labial segment is transformed to T1 and the antennal and maxillary head segments are transformed towards a trunk identity in that they develop denticles and naked cuticle. About half of Mmus\Sdccag33Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC; Scer\GAL4dpp.blk1 flies have an ectopic eye ventral to one or both of their eyes, whereas about a third of Mmus\Sdccag33Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC; Scer\GAL4ey.PH flies have no eyes at all.

      At 22 degrees C, the presence of Mmus\Sdccag33Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC and Scer\GAL469B results in partial rescue of the T1 segment and trunk cuticle phenotypes of tsh8/tsh8 embryos. At 29 degrees C this rescue is more complete.
