      Expression of Dmau\OdsHβTub85D.PS in a D.simulans background has no effect on male fertility; the males have an abundance of motile sperm in their seminal vesicles. Expression of Dmau\OdsHβTub85D.PS in a fertile introgression line which contains D.mauritiana genomic sequence introgressed into a D.simulans background lowers male fertility; 73% of the males have few or no motile sperm in their seminal vesicles.
