Description

Imprecise excision of the P{EP}sar1EP3575 insertion, resulting in a deletion of 1910bp. The deletion affects four exons of sar1, including the first coding exon shared by all transcripts.

The left breakpoint of the deletion (twenty first deleted nucleotides) is TTATGATTAA AAAAAACTGA, the right breakpoint of the deletion (twenty last deleted nucleotide) is CACTACATTC GACTTGGGTG (sequence is given in the same orientation as the coding strand of the gene).

Imprecise excision of the P{EP} element, resulting in a deletion of part of sar1.

Females containing homozygous germline clones produce a few eggs in the first few days after the induction of the clones, but later no eggs are produced. Homozygous clones are not recovered in the eye disc.
