      ogre::shakBs1-172:o183-end.Scer\UAS rescues shakB2 effectively, rescuing the on-transient 89% and the off-transient 92% as effectively as shakBN.Scer\UAS protein. These results show that residues in the first half of shakB(N) are essential for shakB(N)-specific function.
