Description

The P{lacW} element 5kb downstream of the EcR-A transcription start site has been removed, but the P{lacW} element in the intron downstream of the A1 exon remains. Imprecise P{lacW} excision has resulted in two deletions in the first EcR-A intron, separated from one another by 39bp, of approximately 12kb and 2kb.
