The survival rates of flies expressing DuoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4cad-em459 after natural infection with "Ecc15" (P.carotovorum.carotovorum) are not markedly improved if they co-express DuoxΔPHD.Scer\UAS. The persistence of ingested "Ecc15" (P.carotovorum.carotovorum) bacteria that is seen in the intestinal tracts of flies expressing DuoxdsRNA.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 is not rescued by co-expression of DuoxΔPHD.Scer\UAS.
