The muscle hypercontraction phenotype seen in β4GalNAcTA4.1 mutants is rescued by expression of β4GalNAcTAScer\UAS.cIa under the control of Scer\GAL4how-24B, partially rescued by expression of β4GalNAcTAScer\UAS.cIa under the control of Scer\GAL4B185, but is not rescued by expression of β4GalNAcTAScer\UAS.cIa under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu.
The reduced bouton number seen at the neuromuscular junction of β4GalNAcTA4.1 mutants is not rescued by expression of β4GalNAcTAScer\UAS.cIa under the control of either Scer\GAL4how-24B, Scer\GAL4B185 or Scer\GAL4elav.PLu.
