Description

Imprecise excision of P{SUPor-P}KG03781 has deleted sequence from the P{SUPor-P}KG03781 insertion site to near the start of the penultimate exon of chn.

FlyBase curator comment: Figure 5 of FBrf0183881 indicates that the deletion in the chn34E allele extends upstream from the site of the progenitor insertion (P{SUPor-P}KG03781) through to a location within the chn locus. This means that the deletion must also remove the Polr2K gene, as this gene lies in the region between the end of the chn transcription unit and the location of the P{SUPor-P}KG03781 insertion.
