      Expression of nitoΔC.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev results in a rough eye phenotype that fairly uniformly affects the eye. The most prevalent defect appears to be ommatidial fusion.

      Eye discs expressing nitoΔC.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4hs.2sev show increased cell death compared to wild type.
