      Metaphases from Su(var)2-HP2R920X/Df(2R)B11 larval brains show a number of abnormalities (frequency of cells showing each phenotype is indicated in parentheses), such as abnormal chromosome condensation (13.3%), hypercondensed chromosomes (3.0%), hyperploid/polyploid cells (1.5%), chromosome breaks (5.2%) and precocious sister-chromatid segregation (3.7%).
