      Metaphases from Su(var)2-HP2P2763L/Df(2R)B11 larval brains show a number of abnormalities (frequency of cells showing each phenotype is indicated in parentheses), such as abnormal chromosome condensation (24.7%), hyperploid/polyploid cells (1.2%), chromosome breaks (7.8%) and precocious sister-chromatid segregation (2.4%).

      Su(var)2-HP2P2763L/Df(2R)B11 larvae do not show a significant abnormality in polytene chromosome morphology.
