Expression of par-1N1S.AEMmut.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-m6 under the control of Scer\GAL4CY2 in the follicle cells results in abnormal apical constriction of the cells in 64% of cases at stage 9-10.

Expression of par-1N1S.AEMmut.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-m6 under the control of Scer\GAL4wor.PA does not affect polarity orientation in larval neuroblasts.

The oocyte nucleus is mislocalised to the centre of the oocyte in 97% of egg chambers of females expressing par-1N1S.AEMmut.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-m6 under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16.

Expression of par-1N1S.AEMmut.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-m6 in the follicle cells, under the control of Scer\GAL4mat.αTub67C.T:Hsim\VP16 results in a penetrant oocyte polarity phenotype, illustrated by the mispositioning of the oocyte nucelus in more than half of the egg chambers.
