Expression of ftΔICD.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4ptc.PU in cells of the wing disc proper has no significant effect on the morphology or proliferation of the overlying peripodial membrane cells in third instar larvae.

Expression of ftΔICD.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4hh.PU causes substantial overgrowth and folding of the posterior wing disc.

Expression of ftΔICD.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 under the control of Scer\GAL4hh-Gal4 induces massive overgrowth of the wing disc.

Expression of ftΔICD.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1 in dorsal cells of the wing disc, driven by Scer\GAL4ap-md544, results in the autonomous overgrowth of this region. Likewise, expression in the posterior, driven by Scer\GAL4en-e16E or Scer\GAL4hh-Gal4, causes autonomous overgrowth of the posterior region.

Expression of ftΔICD.Scer\UAS.T:Ivir\HA1, under the control of either Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI or Scer\GAL4da.G32, enhances the wing disc tissue overgrowth phenotype of ftG-rv/ft8 mutants.
