Comments

The maternal Apc2g10 mutant embryonic phenotype of increased frequency of incomplete actin rings is only partially rescued by Apc2cMa.

Expression of the Apc2cMa transgene partially rescues the nuclear retention phenotype of Apc2g10 syncytial embryos - the penetrance of the phenotype falls from 35% to only 14% in rescued embryos.

Expression of the Apc2cMa transgene partially rescues the nuclear retention phenotype of Apc2ΔS syncytial embryos - the penetrance of the phenotype falls from 58% to only 15% in rescued embryos. Embryonic lethality is fully rescued in these embryos.
