Overexpression of the knock-down transgene Khc-73dsRNA.Scer\UAS driven by Scer\GAL4elav.Switch.PO in motor neurons can fully suppress the increase in evoked excitatory junctional currents (EJCs) and in quantal content (QC) in homozygous Df(2R)KT40 mutant larvae.

Strong overexpression of two copies of Khc-73dsRNA.Scer\UAS together with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa driven by Scer\GAL4elav.Switch.PO leads to a reduction in QC recorded at larval neuromuscular junctions compared to wild-type.
