Co-expression of Hsap\VCPScer\UAS.cBa with Hsap\MJDQ71.HNHH.Scer\UAS, in the eye, under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155, partially suppresses the photoreceptor degeneration phenotype of Hsap\MJDQ71.HNHH.Scer\UAS (on average 5.5 photoreceptor cells per ommatidia are present, compared to 4.5 in Hsap\MJDQ71.HNHH.Scer\UAS mutants and 7 in wild-type).
Co-expression of Hsap\VCPScer\UAS.cBa, under the control of Scer\GAL4elav-C155, with Hsap\HDGMR.Q120 has no effect on the Hsap\HDGMR.Q120 eye degeneration phenotype.
