      At 29oC, overexpression of CG17278Scer\UAS.cJa under the control of Scer\GAL4αTub84B.PL or Scer\GAL4da.G32 results in nearly complete pupal and pharate adult lethality. At 25oC, expression of CG17278Scer\UAS.cJa under the control of Scer\GAL4da.G32 results in many adults with wing morphogenesis defects, such as bending or mild wrinkling of the wing blade. In addition, these adults typically have grossly swollen abdomens.
