dendrite & dorsal multidendritic neuron ddaC | pupal stage, with Scer\GAL4ppk.PG
microtubule & dorsal multidendritic neuron ddaC | pupal stage, with Scer\GAL4ppk.PG
Overexpression of IKKεG250D.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.PG leads to dendrite pruning defects in pupae (16h after puparium formation).
The proximal dendrites remain intact for most ddaC neurons at 18 hours after puparium formation (APF) in animals expressing ik2G250D.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG, indicating a defect in dendritic severing during dendrite pruning (proximal dendrites can be seen disconnected from the ddaC soma at 5 hours APF in wild-type animals).
The microtubules remain intact in the dendrites of ddaC neurons at 6 hours after puparium formation (APF) in animals expressing ik2G250D.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG (microtubules in the dendrites of wild-type ddaC neurons show breakage at this stage).
Expression of the kinase-dead ik2G250D.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PHb in S2 cells does not lead to an increase in cell death.
Expression of ik2Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC in flies, under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR.PF, does not cause the severe eye-ablation phenotype seen when wild-type ik2 is overexpressed.
IKKεG250D.UAS.Tag:MYC, Scer\GAL4ppk.PG has abnormal neuroanatomy | pupal stage phenotype, non-suppressible by spn-F8D.UAS.EGFP, Scer\GAL4ppk.PG
IKKεG250D.UAS.Tag:MYC, Scer\GAL4ppk.PG has dendrite | pupal stage phenotype, non-suppressible by spn-F8D.UAS.EGFP, Scer\GAL4ppk.PG
Co-expression of spn-F8D.Scer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-EGFP does not suppress the dendrite pruning defects in pupae with IKKεG250D.Scer\UAS.T:Hsap\MYC driven by Scer\GAL4ppk.PG.
