btl788 mutants do not exhibit tracheal terminal cells.

Mosaic tracheal branches (containing wild-type, heterozygous and homozygous cells) are grossly normal, but homozygous mutant clones rarely, if ever, include terminal cells.

Wild-type clones in a btl788/+ heterozygous background preferentially localise to the tip of the dorsal tracheal branches (the DB1 position) and decrease in frequency towards the branch base.
