        Hemizygous Cyp4g1Δ4 larvae display decreased lipid droplets in oenocytes during starvation but not during fed conditions, and does not change oenocyte size in starved conditions, as compared to controls.

        Homozygotes develop normally through larval and early pupal stages but arrest during mid-to-late pupal stages, with many failing during adult eclosion.
