Mnn1^Δ79 and Mnn1^Δ46/Mnn1^Δ79 males show a constant rate of early mortality in days 1-30. These flies also appear to be slightly more resistant to the herbicide paraquat, although this is in contrast to previous reports of other Mnn1 mutants showing increased sensitivity to paraquat.
