Adults expressing AP-1-2β^GD1204 under the control of the cardioblast-specific Scer\GAL4^tin.CΔ4 driver show significantly reduced survival on day 6 after a shift to 29[o]C compared to control flies.

Expression of AP-1-2β^GD1204 under the control of the cardioblast-specific Scer\GAL4^tin.CΔ4 driver results in partial lethality or complete lethality, depending on the particular P{GD1204} insertion line used.

Adults expressing AP-1-2β^GD1204 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) show significantly reduced avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
