Expression of Dh44-R2^GD15731 under the control of Scer\GAL4^nSyb.PU in females does not result in a significant decrease in the latency to sperm ejection or number of sperm in seminal receptacle after copulation.

Adults expressing Dh44-R2^GD15731 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.

Flies expressing Dh44-R2^GD15731 (together with Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa) under the control of Scer\GAL4^Act5C.PI have a significantly reduced lifespan when exposed to NaCl osmotic stress, compared to controls. The effect is more pronounced in males than females.
