Expression of CG31918^GD5247 under the control of Scer\GAL4^Vm26Aa.F results in moderate dorsal appendage defects in 36% of cases, with the appendages being broad.

Expression of CG31918^GD5247 under the control of Scer\GAL4^CY2 results in moderate dorsal appendage defects in 57% of cases, with the appendages being broad.

Adults expressing CG31918^GD5247 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
