      Expression of Pka-R1GD11157 under the control of Scer\GAL4VP16.bam in testes leads to a reduction in number of waste bags and normal individualization complexes (ICs) while the number of abnormal ICs is not statistically different and mature sperms are formed in seminal vesicles when compared to controls.

      Adults expressing Pka-R1GD11157 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
