The expression of ara^GD17184 under the control of Scer\GAL4²²¹, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in third instar larval class I abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaD and ddaE neurons exhibiting dendrite branch misrouting, as compared to controls; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^ppk.PG, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in no obvious dendrite morphology defects in class IV abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaC neurons, as compared to controls.

Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4¹⁴⁰⁷ results in an increased number of GFP-positive aggregates within neuroblast lineage cells in the larval brain compared to controls (these aggregates may indicate cell death or a disturbance of internal cellular structures).
