UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
The expression of araGD17184 under the control of Scer\GAL4221, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in third instar larval class I abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaD and ddaE neurons exhibiting dendrite branch misrouting, as compared to controls; expression under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.PG, in combination with Dicer-2 for efficient RNAi, results in no obvious dendrite morphology defects in class IV abdominal dorsal multidendritic ddaC neurons, as compared to controls.
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL41407 results in an increased number of GFP-positive aggregates within neuroblast lineage cells in the larval brain compared to controls (these aggregates may indicate cell death or a disturbance of internal cellular structures).
Expression under the control of Scer\GAL4pnr-MD237 may result in semi-lethality, depending on the insertion line used.
