      Expression of boiGD60 in apical follicle cells under the control of Scer\GAL4bab1-Pgal4-2 leads to excess interfollicle cell accumulation and follicle stem cell (FSC) proliferation compared with wild-type.

      Expression of boiGD60 in FSCs and their progeny under the control of Scer\GAL4109-30 has no effect on follicle cell production or FSC proliferation.

      Adults expressing boiGD60 under the control of Scer\GAL4elav.PLu (in the presence of Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa to increase the efficiency of RNAi) do not show a significant defect in avoidance of noxious temperature (46[o]C) compared to control flies.
