Reference

In the germarium, scrib is expressed predominantly in spectrosomes and in the fusomes of growing cysts. It is sharply downregulated in 16-cell cysts and can no longer be detected in fusomes after germarium region 2a but continues to be present elsewhere in the cyst. It is also detected in male fusomes.
