      The germaria of htsΔG homozygotes lack fusomes (Adducin/Hts immunostaining).

      htsΔG homozygotes do not show any mutant phenotype in photoreceptor axon guidance in the medulla.

      Mutant females show a loss of oocyte specification, have too few nurse cells and have no actin on ring canals.

      Females containing homozygous germline clones have the same mutant phenotype as homozygous females, whereas females containing somatic follicle cell clones have normal egg chambers.
