Deletion of sequences encoding Su(var)3-7 amino acid residues 909-961 (the corresponding nucleotides have been replaced by a NheI restriction site).

An Hsp70 promoter drives expression of Su(var)3-7 in which sequence encoding amino acids 909-961 has been replaced by sequence encoding a NheI restriction site. The coding sequence is tagged at the N-terminal end with Tag:HA.
