        Expression of GSd231GSd231 under the control of Scer\GAL4109(2)80 results in a reduction in the area of the dendritic field in the dendritic arborisation neurons of the dorsal peripheral nervous system cluster in stage 17 embryos. The dendrite terminals show profuse branching at the end of the shortened primary branches.

        Isolated RP2 neuron clones expressing GSd231GSd231 under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP (clones generated using the Scer\FLP1eve.RN2 line) show altered distribution of dendrites in the dendritic field at 25-31 hours after egg laying: the number of dendrites targeted to posterior regions and to to medial regions is increased.

        Fas2-positive axon bundles in the ventral nerve cord are fused and are also seen to cross the midline in embryos expressing GSd231GSd231 under the control of Scer\GAL4scrt-11-6.
