      Expression of SoxNScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus under the control of Scer\GAL4arm.T:Hsim\VP16 results in ectopic denticle formation in most of the ventral epidermis except for in narrow stripes anterior to the row 1 denticles.

      Expression of SoxNScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus under the control of Scer\GAL4wg.PM results in 2 to 3 rows of ectopic denticles, with the formation of ectopic denticles being restricted to those cells expressing SoxNScer\UAS.T:Avic\GFP-YFP.Venus.
