      Expression of RagAScer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E has no significant effect on the size of the posterior compartment of the wing, compared with that of the control anterior compartment of the wing. The average size of individual cells in the posterior compartment of the wing is also not affected in these flies.

      Under starvation conditions, expression of RagAScer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified in clones in the larval fat body results in a modest increase in cell size compared with neighbouring control cells. Under normal fed conditions, expression of RagAScer\UAS.cKa under the control of Scer\GAL4unspecified in clones in the larval fat body has little effect on cell size.
