      Expression of MntΔSID.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E has no effect on the size of the posterior compartment of the wing.

      Clones in the wing disc expressing MntΔSID.Scer\UAS under the control of Scer\GAL4Act5C.PP are smaller than control clones. The cells in the mutant clones show no difference in cell cycle phasing or cell size compared to those in the control clones.
