      Expression of LkrKK102546 under the control of Scer\GAL4GMR65C11 significantly reduces adult survival time under desiccation, but not starvation, conditions.

      Expression of LkrKK102546 under the control of Scer\GAL4tsh-c724 does not affect basal secretion from the adult Malpighian tubules, but does significantly reduce Dh44-induced secretion; survival under starvation conditions, but not desiccation conditions, is significantly impaired; there is no apparent abdominal bloating phenotype and no difference in water content compared to controls.
