UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Adults expressing CCDC151KK102876 under the control of Scer\GAL4sca.PU show a significant decrease in climbing activity, as compared to controls.
Flies expressing CCDC151KK102876 (in combination with Dcr-2Scer\UAS.cDa) via Scer\GAL4sca.PU show a significant reduction in vertical climbing in a bang assay, compared to controls. A less severe, but still significant, phenotype is seen in the absence of Scer\GAL4sca.PU. These effects are not made more severe in flies that are also heterozygous for a deletion (Df(3L)Exel6115) that uncovers the CCDC151 locus.
