UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Scer\GAL4da.G32-mediated expression of Fdx2KK102957 results in larval growth defects and strong larval lethality - only 55% of mutants reach third larval instar stage, and less than 1% form pupae. Larvae are smaller and weigh less than controls. Tracheal defects are observed in these larvae, with signs of necrosis. The defective pupariation is not rescued by feeding with 20-hydroxy-ecdysone.
Scer\GAL4phm.PU-mediated expression of Fdx2KK102957 results in larval growth defects and lethality at the third instar stage, with a complete lack of pupariation. Tracheal defects are observed in these larvae, with signs of necrosis. Pupariation is only weakly rescued by feeding with 20-hydroxy-ecdysone.
