Embryos expressing Mcr^KK104742 under the control of Scer\GAL4^btl.PS have elongated trachea compared to wild type.

(Bätz et al., 2014)

Embryos expressing Mcr^KK104742 under the control of Scer\GAL4^da.PU lack almost all ventral denticle belts and have ectopic deposits in the region of the salivary glands.

Embryos expressing Mcr^KK104742 under the control of Scer\GAL4^btl.PS have convoluted trachea.

The wing discs of third instar larvae expressing Mcr^KK104742 under the control of Scer\GAL4^ap-md544 have disrupted paracellular barrier function in a dye exclusion assay. In the presence of Dcr-2^Scer\UAS.cDa (to enhance RNAi), the discs show disrupted septate junction organisation (assayed by cora protein localisation).
