      Third instar larvae expressing thwKK105867 (together with UAS-Dicer2 to enhance RNAi efficiency) under the control of Scer\GAL4ppk.1.9 display hyposensitive behavioral response (lengthened latency till response to 46[o]C thermal probe stimulus) in a thermal nociception assay. However, thwKK105867 RNAi expression does not affect dendrite coverage in the ddaC dorsal multidendritic neurons compared to controls.
