      Expression induced in the adult fat body using Scer\GAL4Cg.PA and the Gal80[ts] technique results in a pronounced reduction in female fertility six days after activation. In these animals, a fraction of the follicles degenerate.

      Expression of apolppKK106311 under the control of Scer\GAL4sal.BO (in combination with a Dicer-2 transgene to enhance RNAi efficiency) does not result in larval lethality at the L2/L3 transition.
