UASt regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
Expression of Syt1KK108653 (along with UAS-Dcr-2 expression) driven by Scer\GAL4phm.PO leads to developmental delay/arrest at the larval stage (around 50% at L1/2 and 30% at L3). Arrested third instar larvae also show an overgrowth phenotype due to the extended larval feeding period. Those larvae that do initiate pupariation are significantly delayed in doing so and exhibit overgrowth phenotypes. Feeding ecdysone (E) to larvae almost fully rescues the phenotypes.
Expression of Syt1KK108653 RNAi under the control of Scer\GAL4ETH.Switch results in significantly reduced developmental viability.
Syt1KK108653 is a suppressor | partially of majority die during larval stage phenotype of GαqQ203L.UAS, Scer\GAL4phtm.PO
Co-expression of Itp-r83AGD1676, Unc-13-4BGD7394, Rab3KK108633 or Syt1KK108653 (along with UAS-Dcr-2 expression) significantly suppresses larval lethality seen in Scer\GAL4phm.PO>GαqQ203L.Scer\UAS.
