Expression of CASKKK109311 under the control of Scer\GAL4VGlut-OK371 results in an increase in bouton number/area for type Ib boutons at the larval neuromuscular junction, while bouton area is normal.

Expression of CASKKK109311 under the control of Scer\GAL4Mef2.PR results in a decrease in bouton area for type Ib boutons at the larval neuromuscular junction, while bouton number/area is normal.

Flies expressing CASKKK109311 under the control of Scer\GAL4Tab2-201Y show a reduced performance index in an appetitive associative learning assay compared to wild type.

Flies expressing CASKKK109311 under the control of either Scer\GAL4ey-OK107, Scer\GAL4c305a or Scer\GAL4Mef2.247 or Scer\GAL4CaMKII.7 show normal learning (measured as 2 minute memory) in an olfactory aversive conditioning assay.
