The expression of OtopLa^KK112648 under the control of Scer\GAL4^elav-C155 results in decreased repulsion to HCl, tartaric acid and glycolic acid, assessed in proboscis extension response assays. Similarly, expression under the control of Scer\GAL4^Gr66a.PD leads to decreased repulsion to HCl.
