      The presence of armi+t6 in Df(3L)AJ14 homozygous mutants rescues fertility to 90% of wild-type levels, indicating armi is required for normal fertility. Df(3L)AJ14 females without armi+t6 do not produce eggs and males have a reduced fertility.
