Clones of cells expressing Scer\GAL4Act5C.PI-driven MaddsRNA.Scer\UAS.cEa can cause the loss of the anterior wing margin within clones.

When driven in the wing pouch with Scer\GAL4A9, mechanosensory bristles are partially lost in the wing margin.

Driving MaddsRNA.Scer\UAS.cEa in the wing with Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-KE reduced its size and eliminated veins at room temperature. Doubling the dose of MaddsRNA.Scer\UAS.cEa or driving Scer\GAL4Bx-MS1096-KE at higher temperatures, results in flies lacking wings.

Pupae expressing Scer\GAL4da.G32-driven MaddsRNA.Scer\UAS.cEa fail to eclose.
