UAS regulatory sequences drive expression of an inverted repeat.
The expression of Sur-8JF03236, alone or with Sur-8HMJ22782, under the combined control of Scer\GAL4tim.PU and Dicer-2 (for more efficient RNAi) show longer circadian periods and weaker rhythmicity; the same is observed upon adulthood-only expression of Sur-8JF03236 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4tim.PU, Dicer-2 (for more efficient RNAi) and Gal80[ts] (for the temporal control of expression).
Adults expressing Sur-8JF03236 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4Pdf.PU and Dicer-2 (for more efficient RNAi) show longer circadian periods and weaker rhythmicity.
Scer\GAL4tim.PU, Sur-8JF03236 has abnormal circadian rhythm | adult stage phenotype, enhanceable by Scer\GAL4tim.PU/perUAS.cYa
Scer\GAL4tim.PU, Sur-8JF03236 has abnormal circadian rhythm | adult stage phenotype, suppressible | partially by Scer\GAL4tim.PU/perUAS.cYa
The co-expression of perUAS.cYa suppresses the long circadian period, while enhancing the arrhythmicity, of flies expressing Sur-8JF03236 under the combined control of Scer\GAL4tim.PU and Dicer-2 (for more efficient RNAi).
